Sewing as a path to transformation.

histoire de pascale Laclaverie - Fayence

In my family, we were doctors or dentists…

I was a medical representative. A “serious” job, a well-ordered life. And then I became a mother to two girls, Anya and Romane. I put my career on hold for five years. And when it came time to go back, I couldn’t do it anymore. That world no longer suited me. I didn’t know what I wanted to do yet… but I knew it wouldn’t be that anymore.

One day, my mother suggested I go drawing with her…

It was strange coming from her, as she had always done the drawing for me. I thought I was incapable. But that day, at the age of 39, standing in front of that large white sheet of paper and the portrait of a woman to reproduce… I felt my heart racing. My hand was shaking. And I drew.

And then, a miracle happened.
For the first time in my life, I saw that I knew how. And that I loved it.
It was the beginning of an awakening. Of an upheaval. As if God had handed me a thread to pull.

Sewing came soon after, as if it were meant to be.

One day, I found a cape that my grandmother had given me. I felt the urge to modernize it. I imagined wool fabric, contrasting bias tape… It became an obsession. I had only one thing on my mind: I had to sew.

I had never touched a sewing machine before, but I bought one. I didn’t even know how to thread the bobbin. I learned, I signed up for a sewing class… and I threw myself into it heart and soul.

A Christmas market, capes… and fate intervenes

I was making a series of capes. A friend suggested I take part in a Christmas market at a hotel on the Croisette. I went for it… and sold everything. The hotel even ordered 10 capes for its staff, and… 500 bathrobes (which I wisely declined 😅).

That’s how it all started.
No plan. No strategy. Just passion and encounters.

Then there were the trade shows, the pop-ups in Lyon, the loyal customers, the magic…

And one day, La Tanière des Créateurs was born. My workshop-boutique in Fayence.
A cocoon, a hideaway, a lively and inhabited place.
The wolf is king there—my totem animal.
And incredible synchronicity: the woman who preceded me was called… Madam Wolf.

découvrez mon histoire et ma passion

Today, the world is changing, and so am I.

It’s been nine years. But habits evolve, people move on, and so do shops.
So I’m taking a new turn: reinventing myself, learning, daring to sell differently, especially through social media.

But one thing will never change:
💫 I sew with the same emotion as when I drew the first pencil line.
💫 I create for real women who are free, elegant, comfortable in their own skin, or on their way to finding themselves.
💫 And I always want each piece to tell their story as much as mine.
My clothes?
Simple, comfortable, and elegant designs, created to adapt to bodies and moments in life.
They are designed to last and are made to order, in small batches or custom-made, in my workshop in Provence.
I put my heart and soul into them, along with my expertise and attention to detail that makes all the difference: carefully selected fabrics, meticulous finishing, and confident silhouettes.

It’s not a fashion trend. It’s a way of life.
